God is Pleased with You
"God is pleased with you" I can't remember who said it to me but I needed to hear it so badly at that time in my life. I burst into tears. I didn't know whether I was doing the right thing or not, I so badly wanted to please God but I wasn't even sure if I was serving Him well. I kept asking the Lord, how do you want me to serve You? What am I doing wrong? How can I do better? I didn't think I did enough to make God happy with me. Yes, I had serious daddy issues and it showed in my relationship with God. After that day, it totally disappeared. I realised there was absolutely nothing I could do to make God love me any less or more. He sent His son to die for me. He gave me His Spirit. He gave me angels at my disposal. There's no greater love than the love of God. Since then, time and time again God has reminded me of how much He loves me. He doesn't have to but He does it anyway. Even when I least expect it, He shows me that He's mindful and intent
